Helpful hints for preparing your quilt top for service
Backing and batting are 4 inches longer and wider than quilt top on all sides.
Your pressed top and backing are as square as possible and free of puckers and flared edges.
All loose threads are clipped front and back.
If piecing the back, trim off selvages, sew with a 5/8 inch seam, pressed open.
Clearly mark the head of your quilt top and backing fabric.
Add three dimensional features after your quilting is completed.
